About Love Up Lab

Being a victim of senseless gun violence, I accepted the assignment that came through my pain; to be an advocate for adolescents that are going through struggles in life.  As a mother, I spent countless hours researching resources in the community that would be rehabilitative mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. It was after my son's death that the desire to give my energy of grief back to young people of the communities in memory of my son by developing opportunities for second chance, causing life changes for those that made mistakes causing a setback of hardship in their lives. My husband, Roy Hodge, felt the compassion, saw the need, and joined in partnership with me.

On March 16, 2016; we started our first business, Love Up T-Shirts, with no skills of designing; but God knew the assignment, and we accepted it; through perseverance, research and self-taught training.   In March 2020, we started a party rental business. In July 2022, we began selling our Signature & Brand Body Oils, Body Cream & Lotion. On July 12, 2021; Love Up Lab, LLC was created and became the house for all avenues of business.

Love Up Lab On Wheels has launched and is our mobil travel unit that serve communities as a pop-up service selling products, offering educational resources, and opportunities for spiritual growth and development. We are creating a business that will be an influence and asset to the communities. Young people are being influenced by the opportunities offered through counseling,  life skills through mentorship/coaching, educational resources, achievements, and resume building. We welcome the community to join us in this journey of making our communities better places to live for generations to come.
